When the pain is just to great to bear alone,

Dear Ones,

When the pain is just to great to bear alone, turn your eyes upon Jesus. He endured pain, torture & suffering and Hid Father was there for Him. He is there for us too. God is not just a fly by night god. He is God, he can perform miracles. He does daily in our lives, though we may not recognize them as such. He may steer you clear of an accident, or keep you out of danger. And though the pain is now, and it is difficult, lean on Him. Tell Him your troubles. Ask Him for solutions. He is there, He is listening, He is your personal Counselor.

Today, I'm difficulty dealing with pain after neck epidural for pain. A catch 22, I'd say!

However, I know that I am not in this alone. Yes, my family and friends help to cheer me, hold my hand and tell me things will be better soon, but the one who is always there, the one who never leaves me for a moment is God. He is our Personal God. He has a Loving Relationship with us that can never be stripped away from us.

So today, or when ever, if you are in pain or in need of some kind, call on Jesus. He is there, He is here for you.

Galations 6:8-9 Let Us Not Be Weary In Doing Good.

Galations 6:8-9

Galations 6:8-9 by cjd-sign

  6:1 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.
2 Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
3 For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.
4 But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.
5 For every man shall bear his own burden.
6 Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things.
7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
11 Ye see how large a letter I have written unto you with mine own hand.
12 As many as desire to make a fair shew in the flesh, they constrain you to be circumcised; only lest they should suffer persecution for the cross of Christ.
13 For neither they themselves who are circumcised keep the law; but desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh.
14 But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.
15 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.
16 And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.
17 From henceforth let no man trouble me: for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.
18 Brethren, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. A'-men.
 Reap the Harvest for God!
Blessings to you all!

We Walk By Faith

We Walk By Faith

We Walk By Faith by cjd-sign
 We walk by faith not by sight.
2 Corinthians 5:7
"5Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.
6Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:
7(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
8We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord."

Have a Blessed Day!
Enjoy!

Psalm 108

Psalm 108[a]

A song. A psalm of David.

My heart, O God, is steadfast;
    I will sing and make music with all my soul.
Awake, harp and lyre!
    I will awaken the dawn.
I will praise you, Lord, among the nations;
    I will sing of you among the peoples.
For great is your love, higher than the heavens;
    your faithfulness reaches to the skies.
Be exalted, O God, above the heavens;
    let your glory be over all the earth.
Save us and help us with your right hand,
    that those you love may be delivered.
God has spoken from his sanctuary:
    “In triumph I will parcel out Shechem
    and measure off the Valley of Sukkoth.
Gilead is mine, Manasseh is mine;
    Ephraim is my helmet,
    Judah is my scepter.
Moab is my washbasin,
    on Edom I toss my sandal;
    over Philistia I shout in triumph.”
10 Who will bring me to the fortified city?
    Who will lead me to Edom?
11 Is it not you, God, you who have rejected us
    and no longer go out with our armies?
12 Give us aid against the enemy,
    for human help is worthless.
13 With God we will gain the victory,
    and he will trample down our enemies.

  1. Psalm 108:1 In Hebrew texts 108:1-13 is numbered 108:2-14.

Online Prayer Journal

        I've always done my prayer journals in notebooks, but after some thought I decided to come up with an online Prayer Journal. I encourage  you to do the same.  Online or in a Notebook, really it is just a place to keep all your prayer thoughts, thanksgivings, and your daily prayers together.

      Prayers of Thanks to God who without we would not have had this wonderful opportunity.

     This is a good lesson for letting go and starting anew.
     God does this in our lives, sometimes daily, upon reflection, and sometimes just occasionally. Taking out the old and bringing in the new. I can think of the many times I have wanted to cling to the old, familiar, and comfortable, but God is always changing me, melding & molding me. And it seems this process comes when we need it the  most.

     Today, I Thank God for those changes, for the strength to get through each day and for the ability to try the new out!

     Thank you Lord Jesus for all you continually do to mold & shape me into a better Christian Woman. Thank You for taking me out of the ruts, the sticky situations and putting me back on track with the life you want me to live. I'm willing, but not always ready for the changes and I pray that you will hold me and guide me in way I should go.

     Your Loving Daughter,
     CJ
