Begin Each Day With A Grateful Heart

Hi, Sweet Friends,

The subject of gratitude is so important.
First, it is important that we be greatful for the big and little things in our lives!
Second, it is such a good feeling to start the day with a grateful heart!

This week has been a challenge physically, mentally, and spiritually. I learned some shocking news, learned of a loved one dying, and my pain level is almost unbearable at times. It is hard to be grateful at the hard things in life and it is hard to be grateful when things are seeming to all go wrong. The beautiful thing about it all is that God never leaves us or forsakes us.

Hebrews 13:5 Make sure that your character is free from the love of money, being content with what you have; for He Himself has said, "I will never desert you, nor will I ever forsake you,"
Hebrews 13:6 so that we confidently say,
"the Lord is my helper, I will not be afraid.
what will man do to me?"

So, today, when all this life seems to be crashing down around me, I pick up my cross and follow him. I am grateful for all I have.

When all seems hopeless, Jesus is there:
When all seems dark, He is the light at the end of the tunnel:
  • 2 Corinthians 4:6 (NASB)

For God, who said, "Light shall shine out of darkness," is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.
When all seems terrifying, remember, what God said:

  • Deuteronomy 3:22 (NIV)

Do not be afraid of them; the Lord your God himself will fight for you.”

Put God first in your life and the rest will follow.
Put faith in the Bible. Be in the WORD daily.
    • 2 Timothy 1:9 (NIV)

He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time,

If you don't know Jesus as your LORD and Savior, won't you pray this prayer with me...

Lord Jesus, I want to know you personally. Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins. I open the door of my life to you and ask you to come in as my Savior and Lord. Take control of my life. Thank you for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life. Make me the kind of person you want me to be. Amen.
    God Bless You!
